I am getting my LTE version tomorrow and will post an update. My 32GB Wi-Fi will probably go up for sale soon thereafter.
For comparison I've had the hp touch pad, running webOS and android, and the iPad2 from the wife. The nexus 7 is much better than both.
I personally love the soft touch back. I love the 7 inch form factor. I like the bezels on the side as it comes in very handy when watching videos or espn in landscape mode or in playing landscape oriented games. The screen is amazing.
Things I'm not crazy about. The touch screen tends to be picky at times especially when typing as a lot of key presses are not picked up. The battery life could be better as sometimes it drains without a reason even with everything turned off. And finally android still doesn't have optimized tablet apps. But that's not the nexus 7's fault
Bottom line for the price of this thing I think it's well worth it.

The Nexus 7 is a great device, especially for the price. My only issue with it is that I have had a couple with some light bleed. I'm getting ready to do an RMA on an LTE version and see if the next one is any better.

Me too, my only real issue is the lightbleed at the top of the screen when in portrait mode. It washes out the notification area slightly. Overall not a big deal, but it would be nice if it wasn't there.
