After changing my router chrome cast doesn't see wi-fi. How can I fix this?

I had an issue with ChromeCast once. I basically setup my WiFi but made it an open / public network (no password). Got my Chromecast connected to it ... Gave it a dedicated IP and put it in the DMZ zone and then put the password back on. From that point on it could see the network so I was able to input the password and now the ChromeCast connects.

Did you try to reset the Chromecast? Hold down the button on the device while plugged in for at least 25 seconds and the light should begin to flash. You should be able to start it like new then and hopefully it'll connect
