After day one

Picked up the phone Saturday and my son and I have not put I it down. This is going to replace my Moto X 2013. I didn't think I could give up Moto display but I can deal with tap to wake. Now all I have to do is score another one in the pre-order tomorrow. Hope it ships as fast lol.

In case anyone is wondering the new tool apple gives you to get out of imessage is a joke. My son is not getting text from anyone with an iPhone. It actually says you do not need the tool if you sign out of imessage. Still did not work.

Battery on this thing is crazy. My son had over 5 hours screen on time with most of that playing the games with the best graphics be could find. He also said he could tap the screen a lot faster to do something in a game. I don't know but it seemed to impress him.

Cyanogen is incredible. I have never used it before. So much customization and the lock screen is awesome.

So far we love this phone. Enough to try and buy another tomorrow for myself.

Sign out and turn off imessage on all devices that use his account before removing the SIM card from iPhone.

I switch back and forth and have not had an issue.

The OPO is a sweet device!

Yeah we did all of that. You really never have issues? It is mostly MMS texts from iPhones he does not get. My mom will copy us all on something and I can see he is on the text but he does not get it. If she sends him a text direct it fails sometimes.

No issues. So many of my friends and family have I phones so it would be a big deal if I did not get their text and MMS but no issues.

That was an issue with the moto x if you use the stock messaging app. Try hangouts it works with mms.

First thing I did was make Hangouts the default before he even got a text. He actually has my Moto X now while I am trying out the Oneplus One. I liked it and ordered another one so we will both have one in a few weeks.
