I'm of the impression that "leaks" are actually betas or release candidates that those of us living on the frontier run to help the OEM developers get the bugs out of their product.

That's kinda what I'm getting... An officially unofficial beta. Hopefully we don't get screwed for our impatient/ possible stupidity in the long run.

Try AppBrain

A total reinstall is quite easy if you have all your apps stored in AppBrain.
I also installed the developer SDK so I can save images of my screens. Setup time after a total reset is about 30 min or less.

the 0 in the gmail has been fixed now gmail 2.2.1 works fine in the new leaked OTA

I believe it's just a patch update someone made to fix various issues. It was over at XDA so you just download and flash.

Found it, just downloaded, and now off to install.

SO it ISN'T really 2.2.1 fixed, it is just 2.2 which I had already installed. Oh well, hopefully someone will get that straightened out, 2.2.1 had some nice features, excluding the 0!
