After tap to answer an incoming call

How can I bring up the dial pad after answering an incoming call by tapping to answer? Right now when I tap to answer I still have to click the dots to make the dial pad come up. Thanks

I have the note 8 samsung. After I tap to answer I have to tap the dots to bring up keypad. I want to tap to answer and have keypad immediately show up. ??

Ok, so you still see the Phone app's in-call interface, but it only shows the options for Mute, Keypad, Speaker, Add Call, Hold, etc.? I think that's pretty standard. On my Pixel 2 XL, I have no option to have the keypad show up by default -- I always have to tap that button to bring it up after making or receiving a call.

Hopefully there is a work around for this somewhere?

You could try a 3rd party dialer app, like ExDialer. I have no experience with any of them, so you'd have to test them out yourself.
