What's a good aftermarket battery to get for the G4, anything bigger than 3kma? I don't want to have to put a bigger back cover on btw...

About the only one that didn't need an extended case and is more than 3000mAh was http://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4994459 and I know nothing about the manufacturer, so this isn't a recommendation. Also, at 3800mAh, you're not gaining much.

The smallest batteries I've seen that give you extended time are 6000mAh - and that requires an extended back.

(Battery capacity affects battery size. You can't put a gallon of milk into a quart container.)

As for "good", http://www.amazon.com/LG-G4-ZeroLem...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4994459 and http://www.amazon.com/Extended-Batt...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4994459 are the only manufacturers I can find on Amazon for a G4 battery that are known to be good and are 6000mAh or more (I couldn't find an Anker around that capacity - they're good too).

There are two other options - a power pack or spare 3000mAh batteries.

If it's not zero lemon it's not worth it.

There's basically no way to fit a battery with more than 3000 mAh into the G4 and still use the original back. I'd recommend getting another OEM battery and swapping when the first gets low. If you'd prefer an extended battery, which is heavier and requires a bigger back door, I'd go with the Mugen 6200 mAh or the Hyperion 6000 mAh. I'm sure the ZeroLemon lasts forever, but that will turn your phone into a brick.

Agree, one of the best features of this phone is the swappable battery, take advantage of it, 0-100 in seconds. Get a cradle/charger for the additional battery too.

The trendon for my G4 has worked great but doesn't last as long as oem. The Onite for my G3 has been perfect for over a year.
