AI issues? Huawei P30 Pro

just got my new phone coming from P20 Pro. I noticed the AI tracking is not as good as the P20 Pro where when i use to point to an option the AI recognize the object right away. Anyone noticed this as well?

I had p30 pro but never used mate 20 pro so I can't tell. Its definitely not as great, took photo of glass and sky and it recognised it as clouds. When I tried to take photo of my house and garden it just went berserk like screen had a water droplet and started switching flash modes. I had to restart the phone, worried me a bit since its only 5 days old and it's 7 days exchange here in THAILAND.
