Airplane mode and wifi

[AC Question]

So I'm having a strange problem with my galaxy s7 that just started a few days ago, before that everything was working perfectly. When I try to connect to WiFi while my phone is in airplane mode weird things happen. For example my touch ID stops working or my keyboard won't show up. The phone works fine as long as it is not in airplane mode with WiFi turned on. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes! I have experienced this same problem (I posted to the wrong forum but check my post history). It has been driving me insane! In addition to this, my phone constantly reboots. I'm not quite sure how, but it does seem to fix itself but the phone is useless in transit when you're switching between WiFi lots.

Fix was to do a factory reset as discussed here.
