Okay so i rooted my phone and i am running gROM but for a week airplane mode has been stuck idk what to do. advice?

Have you checked the mobile data setting at Menu >> Settings >> Wireless & Networks >> Mobile Networks ?

Data Enabled should be checked.

To be sure, what baseband were you running before you flashed gROM?

That hippo has not been saved! (It's a running joke in the Rooting, ROMs & Hacks section. :))

gROM was designed for ZVH and I do not recall any posts about anyone testing it on ZVJ. You could try wiping all and reflashing gROM. Of course, I would suggest using a ROM built and tested on ZVJ for best results. HydroROM, DanteROM and GingerROM are now available and actively developed.

If Adobe Flash is why you chose gROM, there is a thread with links in the Rooting, ROMs & Hacks section. I also invite you to read over the Welcome Guide that I have up in there.

Good luck!

Whoops, need to always check the baseband before flashing any ROMS

sent from my Optimus S using Android Central Forums w/ 1Gb of internal storage & modified PRL's

Wait I changed my baseband to ZVH though
You changed your recovery and baseband to stock ZVH first or it just says ZVH in the "About Phone" menu now? If the latter, the ROM writes that info and does not actually poll the radio; you could still have a mismatch.
