Airplane Mode

friends phone keeps jumping repeatedly to Airplane mode when it recognizes a WIFI signal, even when WIFi is turned off on phone

Id verify everything is turned off in the settings (including network) also turn off wifi calling under the "more". then do a hard reset (hold power for 10 seconds until it turns off) let the phone restart and turn the network back on... nothing else and see if it still happens. if it does... Id guess a bad phone.
