I do not fly much at all but will be soon. My question is if my Note 9 is on airplane mode and my Galaxy Watch is bluetooth only, do I need to put the watch in airplane mode as well?

I was wondering the same thing. I just turned mine off.

Nowadays, you are allowed to maintain a bluetooth connection between devices in a plane.

What I usually do is set my Phone in airplane mode and re-activate bluetooth only (by pressing on the BT icon), to allow your phone to reconnect with your GW and/or BT headphones.

If you have a LTE watch, the LTE connection will have to be de-activated during the flight.
