AirVideo for Android

I have been a huge fan of AirVideo for iOS (About Air Video) for ages. It is a good solution for streaming video from my PC at home to my iPad / iPhone. Having moved to Android I need to replace it. What are people using?

i do. and you dont need nothing like airvideo, pc client/server etc. all you have to do is to install es file explorer. it's a file manager, but dont worry, it s an excellant media streaming program. just find your files on shared folders on network, start them, and es file explorer will ask you which program do you want to use for video playing...so, unlike airvideo, you can stream and watch movies in ANY video player you have on your android device...how about that...

Does this work securely over the internet with transcoding to cope with poor bandwidth conditions though? I suspect not.
