Hello all. I used the search function to no avail before starting this thread. Does anyone know the set up procedure for AKO Webmail on a Thunderbolt. I am coming from a Droid (Original) and it is different. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link. I got it set up. I also found this on a different forum to help with the numbers:

select manual set up and IMAP

to recieve:

username: first.last
password: your ako password
imap server: imap.us.army.mil
security: SSL (always)
authenication: plain
port: 993

hit next it should take you to the send portion

the out going setting as follows:

smpt server: mailrouter.us.army.mil
security: SSL (always)
port: 465
authentication: plan
username first name. last name @us.army.mil don't include this portion
password: your AKO password

Glad you got it working!

Your case is a prime example of why you so often see an answer to mail setup that goes something like "Check with your email provider for configuration info". Some people think that is abrupt or off-putting, but really, there is no other choice. It's your mail server admins that establish this configuration. No one else can be sure. They'd just be guessing.
