Alarm and Gmail problems

Hi I have a couple of issues since I updated the software to Sprints official 2.1. I already had to do a full wipe on my phone because of my alarm and my gmail not coming in on my phone. If I set the alarm for 5 mins from now it'll work but if I set it from 8 or 9 hours apart it won't go off nor show its going off on my phone. Any incite is helpful. Thanks. Also the reason why I'm posting this is because it's starting to do it again so I don't want to do full wipes once a week

First, remove your task killer (if you have one but I'm gonna bet you do ;-) and restart your phone.

Second turn up alarm volume (search my old posts for instructions)

Third, test
