Using 2 sims

I've noticed in the sim settings it now has options to select which sim to use for outgoing calls, new messages and such as you see in first picture.

Second picture is my fold 7. No options like that are there.

Does anyone use 2 sims on the S26U, does it work good. On the 25 and fold 7 it was a nightmare assigning what Sim to use. I don't know if this is a 8.5 change, but it appears they are improving using 2 sims on how the phone handles the 2.

I have two . When I got this phone I had to open a new line but I swapped this phone to my s24 number and put my s24 on the new number. I couldn't use both .because of the swap I had to turn esim one off because that was the new number and esim two is my old number. I had never seen that before . I was so confused. The phone is working great though. Lol

My phone doesn't have any indication of a dual sym option. I'm on Verizon.

Just bought a second sim to use in Ireland next week for 10 days. Going to use that for data over there.

I use 2 sims on-and-off and it works let it should.

However, I do feel like there's much less SOT with 2 sims enabled (same in the S25U). Standby time seems to be more or less equal with a single active SIM.

The change to controlling the SIM separately for calls, messages and data is one I've been praying for eternity It was like Samsung thought North Americans weren't smart enough to use the separate controls correctly.

If you don't have a second SIM already, you won't have that option.
