Alarm Clock

Hi everyone,

Ive had a serious issue with the alarm clocks built into Android phones first was HTC Desire X, Ubuntu Phone BQ and now LGG3.

The issue is that sometimes the Alarm won't activate or will but with no sound.
I was curious if you guys have had the same issue or know how to resolve it?
Is it common across the board for smart phones?

My phone does have to go through Xray screening for security reasons and wasn't sure if this process could be the cause of this issues IE Making my phone faulty with Software or Hardware related.

Welcome to the G3 forum.

The only input I can make here is to say that I've never, so far as I recall, had trouble with the alarm clocks on any of my devices.
So far as I know, X-rays of the type you mention are harmless to phones.

What carrier are you on? Are you stock, rooted, or using another launcher? I have never had an issue with any alarm on any Android as well. On my G3, the alarm seems to turn itself on from time to time, but I may be doing unknown swiping around like I do...lol.

I'd just install an alarm clock app. I use Alarm Clock Xtreme Free. It works great.
