Alarm is terrible

Got my Z3V a couple weeks ago and mostly happy with it, but I have to say the stock Sony alarm is terrible. When it goes off it doesn't wake the screen, and there is no obvious way to silence it. Downloaded a third party App, but why should I have to get another alarm.

That is really strange. I've never had an issue at all....use it every day. Screen comes on and its just a slider you slide over to turn off.

OP may be referring to the Timer.
When my Timer goes off, it doesn't wake the screen.

I don't use the stock alarm. Downloaded timely from the play store. Works great and very customizable.
