Alarm not making sound

My alarms are vibrating but there is no sound. So i know it isn't an issue with me killing the clock app or something

Anyone have this issue?

update:
so the phone comes preset with 3 alarms. i only use 3 alarms so i just reconfigured them for my needs.

after my last post i created a fourth alarm from scratch and tested it a couple times and it worked.

then reconfigured one of the original 3 to sound and it vibrates and makes the faintest noise.

i think the stock alarms are bad.

anyone see this?

i use the stouck alarm everyday and it works fine for me. i changed the name, time, sound (make sure its not set to silent), vibrate. Im sure that your sound has a selected ringtone and not silent?

go to settings>sound>volume> make sure alarm is turned up all the way

i've checked everything. why would 1 alarm work and the other not if it was a volume issue. and yes i have them all set to the default alarm sound.

Go to your alarm app, settings>alarm in silent mode. Make sure that is checked and also check you alarm volume for whichever alarm you are using. A great app that I use is "Quick Settings" you can adjust all volume and notification settings from it instead of having to go to each app individually. Plus it has wifi, gps, etc settings.

just to check something called "system volume", do you have a sound when you press the number keys to dial a phone number?

i have system volume off. the alarm volume is all the way up.

Quick Settings is an app in the market. Free download. Try turning the system volume up also. Another quick trick if youre using your alarm to wake up in the morning (as I do) I have my vibrate settings to be "only when not in silent mode". I dunno if that will make a difference or not

Dude... if one alarm worked without having the system volume up how is that the fix.

And second the alarm is governed by the alarm volume. The touch tones and other crap is governed by the system volume
