Question Remove web apps from home screen

Hi

I've got a Moto G82. I've saved lots of sites as web apps (in a folder) on my home screen. There are some I'd like to remove but can't work out how to do it. I've gone through my bookmarks and the web apps aren't there. I'm stumped. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi B. Diddy, thanks for the welcome! I hope I'm using the term web apps correctly.
They are a collection of sites that I've created via the 'add to home screen' option. I've put them all in a folder. If I long-press the folder nothing really happens other than it lets me move the folder around or gives me the option to remove it. None of the sites that are in the folder appear in apps or as bookmarks which is what's stumped me.

You removed them from your home screen, but you can't find them in the drawer, right?

Thay means that those were only shortcuts. If they were installed as PWA (progressive web app), then they would still appear in the drawer, since they are apps. But shortcuts are just an icon on home screen. More like widgets.

Hi Zoran. Thanks for replying. They are all still in a folder on my home screen. I think you're right that they're shortcuts not PWAs. My problem is that I'd like to be able to edit / remove some of the shortcuts in the folder but I can't figure out how to do this.

So... You want to remove just some of them?

Long press the icon of the shortcut, and without raising the finger, drag it to the "remove" option at the top of the screen. If you use OneUI Home, you should long press the icon and click "remove" in the popup menu.

Correct, just some of them. I've just tried that and it works! Thank you so much, it's been bugging me all day

Like Zoran mentioned you remove them like you would an app on the home page
