Alarm not showing up on lock screen after Android 10 update

I'm using Alarm Clock Xtreme on my Pixel 1 phone. Prior to the update, when the alarm went off in the morning, it appeared on the lock screen and all I had to do was just tap the dismiss button.
However, after the update, the alarm will sound, but now I have to unlock the screen, swipe down to access the alarm and dismiss it.
I can't find anything in the settings of the app itself that is relevant to this. In the Android settings under apps & notifications>notifications for Alarm Clock Xtreme turned on. Under lock screen "show alerting and silent notifications is checked.
Any suggestions for solving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Exactly the same problem with Pixel 2 XL, I tried modifying every setting relevant to lockscreen and notifications, but unable to fix the problem.

You may want to contact the app developer, they will be responsible for updating the app to support the new OS. The stock alarm works as expected on my Pixel 2 XL.

Update. The issue has been solved. The alarm screen now appears on the lock screen when the alarm goes off. Guess there was an update.
