Samsung Ultra 24 lock screen doesn't wake with notifications

I just recently upgraded from the Ultra 20 to the 24 and I've noticed that even with notification settings for lock screen notifications set to "Show content" and checking "Show content when unlocked" and Notifications to show setting to "Alert and silent notifications" I'm not seeing my lock screen light up and show content when I receive notifications from text and Teams. FWIW, I use Textra for text messages, which I did on my 20, and didn't have issues with the lock screen displaying message content.

I have my phone set to silent for notifications (I don't want any noise!) so I really depend on the lock screen visually showing me that a message has come in.

I've also noticed that my alarm, the paid version of Alarm Clock Xtreme, won't wake up the screen either, which effectively negates the app for me. On my Ultra 20 when the alarm went off, the screen would wake up and show the snooze and dismiss buttons, thereby letting me touch the screen to dismiss the alarm. Now, I have to totally wake up, unlock the phone, tap the icon on my home screen for the alarm THEN I can dismiss or snooze (no way am I gonna snooze if I have to deal with all of those steps!).

HELP!?!?!?! What's going on?

Are you using AOD or just lock screen set-up?

Next go to settings>notifications>how is it set-up there ?
U der advanced settings there manage notifications categories is toggle on.

Once we do that we have to go in each individual apps well the ones not showing by long pressing the app >tap info>notifications>notifications categories

Do you use DND?

Are you using edge lighting?

There will be some menus mentioned above to go over

Hi,
Thanks for the post! I think you helped me solve at least the alarm clock issue. That is now working as expected. However, after doing what you suggested, my lock screen is still not lighting up for text messages and for messages from Teams.

To answer your questions:

Are you using AOD or just lock screen set-up?
My reply:
Is this an "either/or" or could this be a "both"?
Lock Screen notifications: Show content
And Show content when unlocked is checked
Notifications to show: Alert and silent notifications

Next go to settings>notifications>how is it set-up there ?
My reply:
The apps that I'm most interested in seeing notifications appear on my lock screen have the following settings:
- Allow notifications
- For Alerts: Allow sound and vibration
- For Notification types: Lock screen allowed
- Badge allowed
- Pop-up allowed
- For Lock screen notifications: show content

Under advanced settings there manage notifications categories is toggle on.
My reply: I think this is done, yes

Once we do that we have to go in each individual apps well the ones not showing by long pressing the app >tap info>notifications>notifications categories
My reply: the info I've given above, does that fulfill this?

Do you use DND?
My reply: No

Are you using edge lighting?
My reply: No

Hi , glad I could help with one of the apps let's see if we can get more going

You can have both AOD and Lock screen so what will happen AOD be first then power button press will take to lock screen

AOD will show just icons
Lock screen shows more like details

Check settings >notifications>tap app notifications is it set to all the toggle?

Also

Long press the Said app then tap info >is lock screen highlighted?
I'm going show some screenshots tell me if they are same
