Alarm not working when phone off

[AC Question]

After seting alarm I normally switch off the phone, with moto e alarm doesnot work when phone is off.
How to set it right.
I donot want any EM radiating in my room when asleep (which normally happens when phone is on, due to cell hunting)

I have heard that was on cell devices, but no longer. If you are worried about EM radiation, you could turn your phone in Airplane mode.
