Alarm "Notification" on top of the phone now missing?

When my cell phone alarm clock is activated, there should be a notification icon that shown on the of the phone next to the to the other icons (WIFI, signal strength, etc.).

For some reason, it is not there anymore when I turn on my alarm.

I like having this to know if my alarm is on or not.

I am assuming this is just a setting that was accidentally turned off.

Let me know how I can get that back.

I believe Samsung removed that a couple of years ago. though, tbf, I've been using my Galaxy Watch as my alarm for several years now, so I might be mistaken.

I don't think so as it was there a few weeks ago.

Actually it's there when u pull the notification panel down just not always in the status bar , Samsung changed this I think with One UI 7 and on .

It's in my status bar to the left and I stand corrected but in the notification panel also but only when it's a current alarm to go off , it won't show if it's for next day until it's closer

I see it now on my phone when I swipe down to see the notification panel.

It's just not on the status panel anymore.

Try setting up a current alarm to go off in t minutes from now then see if it shows up

I did and it does not show up on the status bar but at least it shows up on the notifications like you said.

You would know if you signed up , but go to settings>about phone>at the top android version.

I can't test this as my Fold 7 and s25u both on Android 16 one UI 8 , hopefully someone can chime in with Android 15 , if I can find any other information that can be helpful I'll post again.

Long press the alarm clock then tap info>notifications tap>does it look like my screenshot?

Yes, looks the same.
