Well technut said he went into safe mode and exit out and went away for now ..I have a feeling this is a to be continued.

Lol yeah it probably will be. And idk of technut is on one ui I yet but if he/she is I guess it don't matter cause I'm still on oreo with this annoyance lol. But I did safe mode to but it came back. Lol. Btw not ignoring you dm I'll will respond soon lol

Yelp and and so far only thing that makes it disappear is shutting phone off and on. But eventually comes back. Oh well. Long as it don't actually go off. I'm getting my replacement blue note9 512gb Monday so hopefully it don't do it too.

I have the same problem...but I think that I have figured out what might be causing it on my Samsung Note 5...

Yesterday I had multiple Calendar reminders about an event....and instead of opening each of them and adknowledging them, I simply 'swiped them to the right' on my Lock Screen.

So what I think happened is that one of the Calendar reminders was considered 'missed' and got stuck.

I just rebooted my phone and the Alarm ' icon cleared.
