Alarm

My tab a (9.7) the alarm is being weird. When it goes off you'll hear the ring tone for a few seconds and then nothing but once you touch the home button you'll hear it again (it's been doing this for a short time so it's something new) . Any ideas?

Is the alarm stopping way too soon? Could it be the Notification Reminder setting (in Settings>Accessibility​)?

When the alarm goes off it starts then silents but once you touch the home button you will hear the ring tone again. I'll check the reminder setting to see what is in there (I haven't changed anything).

I just did test and it happens when the screen is off and locked. It stopped after 3 seconds on locked screen and after 8 sec I turned off the alarm (screen on no pause or mute to it)

I have the same issue with the stock clock. I've troubleshooted everything I can think of. I installed Google clock and now use it instead

Does this happen in Safe Mode as well? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28317. If it goes away in Safe Mode, then something you installed might be causing the glitch. You'd have to uninstall apps one by one to try to narrow it down, though.

The problem was solved by the Nov 1st security update. Thanks for the troubleshooting help.
