Alcatel S1 - add Chinese traditional question

I have an Alcatel S1 cell bought in Spain, but it did not come with Chinese fonts. How can I add it? Would you please give me in step by step instructions? I'm not that familiar with Android.

Do you mean that if you go to the System Language setting in the Language & Input system settings, there's no option to select Chinese? Not all phones allow this. Notably, many Samsung phones limit the available system languages, based on the region that the phones are intended for.

Thanks Diddy. Yes, that's right, if I go to the Language & Input, Chinese is not listed there. I think in my case it's possible, because the manufacturer is TCL (a China based) and I'm getting conflicting info from the manufacturer' support, once they explained to me how to add Chinese keyboard, which is what I'm looking for, and the other time they told me that I need to take the phone to a support center (where I live there's no support center), so if someone can explain how to add additional language (not available in the system), I can try to see if it'll work.

Not that I can see in settings, I think it might be a hidden feature (using a hidden code to unlock the language feature).

Usually on most phones it's not hidden feature

It sounds like support was telling you how to add Chinese as a keyboard language, but that won't change the system language (i.e, how the system menus and notifications are displayed). If you're looking to add Chinese as a keyboard language, and you're unable to add it to your stock keyboard app, then try installing Gboard and see if you can use Chinese on that.

It sounds like support was telling you how to add Chinese as a keyboard language, but that won't change the system language (i.e, how the system menus and notifications are displayed). If you're looking to add Chinese as a keyboard language, and you're unable to add it to your stock keyboard app, then try installing Gboard and see if you can use Chinese on that.

Thanks Diddy, actually I'm not trying to add Chinese keyboard, I'm trying to add Chinese language to the existing system language, the reason for doing that is I'm using Here wego offline map, I've downloaded an offline map for China, if the system language is Chinese, the map will display in Chinese (tested with a cell with Chinese language), but if the system language is English, the map will display in English, which is confusing because several streets have the same pronunciation.
