ALL photos are saved to gallery?

Hey, i have the problem that all of the photos i send or receives in different apps like for example messenger is automatically saved to my gallery. How do i disable that?

Different apps might save their downloads to different directories. Images in these directories will show up in the Gallery unless that directory contains a file titled ".nomedia" (without the quote marks). So you can use a file manager app to locate the directory and create a blank text file with that title. The system should then ignore that directory when adding images to the gallery database.
