all pictures come as videos

when ever i receive a picture it comes as a video. i can not figure out why. Doesn't seem to matter what phone it is sent from. Any fix?

Texts (in Messaging)? That's a Touch Wiz function, don't believe there's a native way to change it. Could use a third party texting app instead, such as Handcent or Go SMS.

when you are receiving a pic from that other person are they adding text to that same message? if so tell them to stop. send picture then send another one with the text, that will stop the "video"
