All sound notifications including alarms, calls, music, video stops randomly through the day.

Hey guys, I have a Galaxy Note 5 and I just got updated to Android 7.0 Nougat last week. Ever since then I've been having an issue with the sound. It started off with me missing both my set alarms (because there was no sound from the device) to missing a few important phone calls cause the device wouldn't ring (vibration unaffected). I've also noticed that my earphones also fail to work and any video or audio playback will only result in an error. A restart fixes the problem but there's no way to know when it'll happen again. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Google how to wipe cache Note 5, follow the instructions and you should be good to go. Fixed all my issues.

I am having the same problem as you, sadly clearing the cache does not fix it.
