Hi all,
I tried out allshare last night. It picked up my media served from my ReadyNas Duo with no problems, and I could browse and play my music collection.
However, I did run into what I think is a serious useability issue. Now this may well be general to these Music streaming services, or perhaps the particular server the ReadyNas uses, but I wondered if anyone had a solution. When I play music, I generally like to pick a genre, or a folder, or a playlist, and then play all of the music contained within. However with allshare, the only way I could play a track was by drilling down and selecting tracks one by one. There is no option for "play" at the folder or genre level. Also, as soon as you leave allshare it resets the current playlist.
Has anyone got any nifty tricks for getting around this, or any way to save allshare playlists?
Thanks,
Chris.
