I am a Linux and Windows network administrator but I have always resisted the smartphone movement. I was given a boost mobile Samsung Replenish with a 2gb microSD card for free after modding a friends Wii for him. I had no choice but to get an unlimited card and see what the fuss is all about. I sure am glad I did, not sure how I lived without it. I already ordered myself a 32gb microSD for it!
I am getting what seem like reasonable speeds from the Boost 3g connection, I can stream from youtube and download a torrent on my phone at the same time. I find that to be an amazing feat for a phone. I keep my bit torrent download speed throttled to 250kbps when I do that.
For now I am going to be more of an information taker here since I don't have much info to share yet. As I learn more and more about this platform I hope to be able to add some useful information to what you have here.
I also have a T-Mobile Samsung gravity smart out for warranty repair but I think I am going to like this phone a lot more, seems more comfortable to type on for me. I plan on rooting my replenish tonight, with all the great info here I'm not worried at all.
