Alternative character setting not availible for all language

So in the stock samsung keyboard setting -> keyboard layout, there is a setting called alternative character.
This setting is only availible for english, it's becoming unclicable/grey if I chose another QWERTY language such as French (CA).

Is there a way to nake ut availible to all language? Or at least all QWERTY ones.
