Alternative OS to Jelly Bean??

Hey guys-

I have A200 and been using Jelly Bean 4.0.3 since July. While it is an awesome device and awesome OS - I really want to explore alternative OS. I've been browsing the web for potential alternative such as CM or even Ubuntu but with no luck.

So I am hoping to tap into the vast knowledge of Android Central and see if there might be anything out there that I (we) can consider??

i hear you cant put jelly bean on any acer products... ive looked into it . how did you do this
