Alternatives to the Nexus 10

They all are for their time. That's why Apple gets their processors from Samsung.
No Samsung manufactures the A6 but the A6 is a complete custom chip as the benchmarks and reviews are on Anand tech point out. But this again is just Android vs iOS and what you want more, since the hardware in both of these awesome tablets are pretty high-end! I could argue that the screen res is so high on both you really couldn't tell the difference(I'm 15 so my eyes are still very well functioning lol)

The point stands. lol And mine are better than 20/20 vision and I can't see too much difference. I think I said in another topic that we're at the point where screens are gonna look about as good as they can.

I thought I said that about the screens:P and yeah manufacturers should stop caring about the pixel density and focus on the power draw and colour saturation and other things to make the screen look better.

I know I definitely said it. :P And they definitely should, also make screen easier to read in bright daylight. That should be standard by now, sadly not.

I myself believe the iPad since apple really knows how to make tablets, the A6 chip which is a dual core comes very close to beating the quad core N10 now that's impressive! But the apps are also far,far better on the iPad over the N10, I say this from experience I've had a N10 it's an excellent tablet but I prefer the ipad.

There is no arguing the N10 out-specs the Ipad in more ways than not but the user experience is very much personal preference. I have an Ipad3 and an older outdated Android tablet - I much prefer the Android myself. However, I know people like yourself who prefer the Ipad.

I personally can't stand using it but that's mainly cause iOS bores the hell out of me. Many people do prefer the iPad though, especially those that just swear by Apple products.

How so? The colouring saturation is better on the iPad 4 and the GPU does destroy the Nexus 10 one. the CPU's are comparable and iOs has better tablet whether or not it matters to me and that's why I thing the User experience is better on the iPad. Can't we just say both of them are amazing and leave it at that?

Oh I would agree with you that the iPad is boring on a phone but certainly not on a tablet with all those wonderful apps( if you haven't noticed this before, iOS apps simply look far more appealing then there android counterparts)

And yet, the OS hasn't changed since the 3G. The truth is iPhones are just stale. The N10 has more features and live wallpapers. No offense but you obviously love apple. For gods sake your picture is the mac background.

That's personal preference IMO, I haven't really found an Android app that I didn't like the look of but I'm pretty easygoing. To me though, no matter what device iOS is the same to me. I don't see any more appeal to it on an iPad than I do an iTouch or iPhone. Again, that's just personal preference.

He's supported Android as well, he's far from being one of the many blind fanboys I've seen on here and elsewhere.

Dude....My main phone is a Nexus 4 I love that thing but that doesn't mean I have to spew good things about Android all day, hell I wanna sell my iPhone 5 and get the Lumina 920 because I believe in trying new things out.

No offense but that's a lame argument coming from someone whose username is impersonating someone known across the country as a TV host. I mean really?

I could be wrong so feel free to correct be but I believe in comparison spec wise the N10 has a faster processor, double the memory, and a better display.

Not trying to be and Android fan boy, as I said I own both and I think it comes down to which user experience you enjoy the most more than specs at times. I use my crusty old outdated Asus101 more than my Ipad3.

It does have a better display though some people like their Retina display even though it isn't #1 anymore, it has double the memory and the GPU on the iPad is technically better but some tech sites have called the Nexus 10's the smoothest.

But really, it's all about what you wanna use.

I hope I'm not contradicting myself or anything but after an extent no specs matter just the user experience and some people like to customize there tablets, great! But for me, iCloud syncs all my docs from my MacBook Pro to my iPad so I have all my docs ready when ever I need and that to me is irreplaceable. Again lke customizing android is just amazing! want everything to work out of the box well then the iPad is a very good choice, IMHO

Android works out of the box too, the difference is iOS works on Apple wants it to work and there's no changing it if they have their way. With Android the changes are already there for you if you want them, hell Android encourages experimentation, customization and development.
