Although I gave Whatsapp permission to access my contacts, the app cannot find any of them.

Android Central Question

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy J7 Skypro (via Tracfone). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Whatsapp and made sure all permissions are turned on.
 
I moved this to the WhatsApp forum for more specific traffic.
