Always on display not working unlocked version on t-mobile

Can't get always on display to work , any ideas ?

Did you turn it on in settings? I don't have mine yet I'm just assuming it's like the s10. When you first turn it on there's usually a tip telling you how to turn it on the first few times you unlock the phone.

It's set for tap out the box , you can set it for always on or schedule. Go phone settings>lock screen tap AOD to change it.
