Always on display not working

Always on display stopped working. If I double tap the screen it shows for a few seconds then fades away. It used to be on all the time. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, go into phone settings to lock screen , tap AOD in that setting change from tap to show >always on
