Always-on-display showing last Spotify song played even when Spotify is not on.

[AC Question]

New Galaxy S7 with updated Always-on-display. I have the display set to show time, and notifications. But it annoyingly shows the last song played on Spotify even when Spotify is turned off. It clears this info when I do a restart. Any ideas on how to get this notification to stop showing when Spotify is not running (without rebooting)?

Welcome to the forums. Have you already tried closing/swiping out Spotify from recent apps?

I'll move this thread to the S7 forum where it'll be easier getting feedback from other owners.
