Always On Display - You leaving on or off?

I am going to try it out first, but if it moves the battery needle at all, its off. I dont see it as a big feature. Surprised that Samsung and some reviewers think its a big deal.

I like it... ...in principle. Unfortunately the lack of support for Google Messenger, Gmail, WhatsApp pretty much means it's a clock for me.

It will be off for me. It has such minimal usage by using only Samsung apps.

The whole "Saving battery to check time" thing for me is a moot point. I will take the smallest hit to check time real quick. I am never in a panic to save battery that bad.

I plan to always leave mine on as its hardly uses any battery at all from what they said and showing the clock all the time has already came in handy and I have not even had mne 24 hours yet.

I'm lazy and don't like hitting the power button to check the time.

If you turn off Always On, doesn't it then become Always Off? In a parallel universe is someone asking how do you turn Always off to on?

I was at the movies last night and it was just nice to glance at the time and look for messages a few times (the movie wasn't great).

It's a nice little feature , not mind blowing, just nice.

Wonder if it burn in on the screen after a while? I know it moves around but to the same places.

It won't, Windows phones has this for years.. They call it "Glance". I'm hoping Samsung or Google let's other apps take advantage of Always on such as Calendars, Weather, Gmail ect...

Leaving mine on too. I love the look of the gold top and bottom and the jet black screen an then the nice green and red of the calendar.

It reminds me of something from the 70's

I turned mine off. I find it rather useless, especially since the only notifications that show up are from Samsung apps only.
