Always On Display

So after many, many years on flagship Samsung devices I decided I wanted something different. I went for the Pixel 4A 5G. Not a bad little phone, I love the stock install of Android 11 without the bloatware Samsung puts on their phones. Anyhow, I was curious if there is a way to customize the always on display. Due to poor eyesight, I have the fonts turned up to large. This has the effect of cutting down the AOD to just saying "Mon, Feb/45 degrees" under the time instead of spelling out the complete month and day along with weather like it did when I bought the phone brand new. It's not a deal breaker, I was just curious if it can be tweaked. TIA!

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe Google will offer more ways to customize the AOD in the next OS release. I think for now I will try a few AOD apps to see if they work better or try to install Samsung's version.

But you are correct, the 4a 5G is a wonderful phone. Love my new one as well.
