Hey guys! I found another issue with my s8+... when i'm laying in bed and the phone is charging, the always on display is very dim. It gets bright when the lights are turned on. Is there a way to keep it lit all the time? I took a short video to show you detail...Thanks!

The light in the room that is detected by the sensor adjust the AOD accordingly. There isn't any way to adjust the brightness for it, unless there is a 3rd party app I am not aware of.

Pretty sure this is normal. AoD is meant to be dim in low light. In brighter light it's a little brighter. My LG V10 had exact same behavior for its second display.

This is normal behaviour and is controlled by the ambient light around you like the autobrightness feature. Not sure if turning off your autobrightness and cranking the slider right to the top would keep it on at its brightest level once the lights go out?

The display autobrightness and brightness slider don't have any affect on the AOD.

I have the stock s8 wallpaper where the AOD and home screen are seemlessly integrated into one and very rarely on the AOD screen, I'll see a hint of purple. Like what's on my wallpaper.

Hard to explain but usually I just have stars on my AOD screen.

That's actually one of my favorite features of the S8 AOD...that it can stay on all night, but not light up my bedroom. Just bright enough to see the time if I want to look.
