Always on Display

For those of you with other recent Samsung devices and specifically with AOD. How much effect on battery life do you all think it has?

Most of the info I've read says 1% per hour if on continuously. I don't see that much on my S8+ but it's frequently in my pocket.

Oh wow. For the short time I had the 2 note7, I honestly don't remember but I don't think It had to much of an effect on the battery. I love the AOD. I had more of an effect on the battery

i thought it was kimda dumb until i had the note 7 and decided to check it out...didnt notice any difference in battery, then i had to give back the n7 and pull the s6e out of the drawer and i miss that feature a ton and my battery is worse than i was used to. its one of the reasons im excited for my n8.

always on display has absolutely no effect on the battery. don't even worry about it.

Very minimal effect. Its always ON on my S8. Used it on my Nexus 6 as well. Never had battery issues due to that

I'm on the S8+ now, had S7Edge previous. Aod didn't affect my battery excessively at all.

Some folks reported screen burn in from AOD but rotating feature prevents that

Loved the AOD once I began using it
