Always on display

Thinking about switching from the S9, every Samsung I've owned lags at some point. One of my favorite features is Always on Display does the Pixel 3 have that or is there an app that can duplicate it?

It has one, however it is most likely not identical.

It has AOD but no customization like the s9

its advertised to have an always on display, but I'm not sure how identical it will be to s9. not sure if you will be able to interact with the always on display
