Am I going to really miss a thing?

So, I had the Note 10plus and it is really just too big. So I think I am going to get the regular note 10. I've tried googling the major differences, but I'm not sure what I will miss. I'm going with the regular note 10 bc of the size mostly. Rocking a Pixel 4 XL right now. Sweet size but the bezels are so huge on this! Also, my Samsung watch isn't playing nice with this Pixel. I'm not getting notified of texts. Plus side of the Pixel is the camera. Gonna miss it, maybe.

The main differences are a 1080p display, smaller battery, and no sd card compared to the 10+. I've seen the 10 in person and its hard to tell it's a 1080p display. I have the 10+ btw.

As mentioned above...
Screen you won't notice a difference, most Note 10 plus users have it at the same as the regular 10.
Battery, well that's entirely down to personal use and setup but worst case scenario you could carry a small key ring powerbank with you.
No SD card, well just get the one with the most internal storage, for everything else there's memory sticks and cloud space.

Thanks for this lol. Thinking of trading my N9 for the 10 cos of the size and I wanted to know if the 10+ would be better. Apart from lack of sd card expansion which I'm gonna miss, I think the size is the main deal for me. I am petite and I've never really enjoyed the size of the N9, only got it cos my N8 was stolen and I didn't see the sense in buying same old phone. Planned to wait till the 10 came out, and the size does it for me. Can't wait to get it.

I still really wish they would have made one note and split the difference between sizes. But anyhow, I've been using the Note 9, and I think I'm going to chance the 10 for the more compact size. My biggest concern was is getting the 10 over the 10+ not having the TOF sensor...but I'm not sure it will make a huge difference in color point or portrait mode photos. Though I still find it frustrating that there do not seem to be any reviews comparing photos between the 10 and 10+.

Only thing is it appears Costco's Black Friday deal only lists the 10+ and not the 10, so I guess I'm going to take advantage of Best Buy's deal. Just won't have the 90 day return window in case I change my mind (or the automatic reimbursement of the activation fee).

You won't miss the ToF sensor I'm sure.
But if you have the Note 9 then why not hang onto it until February when S11 is out, you still get good trade in price on the Note 9

For me, a couple reasons. The most significant being I want a Note. I like the S-pen and the features it brings.

The cameras on the Samsung phones are great at still shots but not great on moving objects. But I really like their still shots. Apple just has everyone beat on cameras, except for Pixels but this Pixel is just too bland for me. I like customizing and everything else about a Samsung phone. I'm not sure how I feel about the battery life of the regular Note 10. I am near a charger most of the time. So maybe it won't be a big deal?

Camera is definitely the only thing that has ever had me consider the Pixel. Particularly, because as you mention I've read a number of (anecdotal) accounts of it handling moving subjects indoors better than the Note. This would be nice with kids. But I think I would miss the other features of a Note too much now.

If you root the phone with Magisk, you can run Advanced Charging Controller, so you can leave the phone hooked to a charger for hours and have charging started and stopped at the points you prefer (like 80 79, to keep it around 80% charged, or 95 45, to keep it from discharging more than is healthy for the battery and not risking overcharging [and cooking] the battery).

Ok that makes sense, it was just that you said that you were using a Pixel that I didn't consider the s-pen as important.
Just get the Note 10 6.3, it's a perfect size and battery really isn't small if you think about it and also consider it a bit more in your whole phone setup and usage

I opted for the smaller Note 10, had the plus as well for some time but the smaller form factor and how comfortable it is to use the phone is more important than anything else.

I was considering a Pixel (b/c camera), but haven't actually had one. I was using the Note 9, but just picked up the 10 from Best Buy on Friday. So far so good, but typing is still feeling a bit awkward on the smaller screen. I'm sure my thumbs will get used to it. When I pick up my old 9, it now feels massive in my hands.

I came from a S10+ to the Note 10+ and the things I noticed were better battery life, more in phone storage and more ram. There isn't a huge difference in screen size between the S10+ and the Note 10+ but I do prefer the larger screens. I don't use the S pen that much but the selling points for me were the 3 differences I mentinoed. Before your make your decision I'd go to your local carriers store or BestBuy and compare them if you haven't already done so.

I ended up getting the regular Note 19 and was so disappointed in the battery. I went back to the Note 10plus today. I need the extra battery.

Note 10+ is the way to go. Had mine since release day. Best Samsung phone ever made. That 12gb of RAM and 256 base storage is just insane. And to top this, it is the smoothest Samsung phone to date.
