Am I making sense? A reason for bigger phones.

Is that mobile apps have a tendency to be half baked? What do you think? Like banking and financial apps can’t compare with the desktop experience.

So even though mobility is important sometimes that big screen especially if you’re not by a computer is vital.

Am I making sense here?

I'm not clear on what point you're trying to make except that larger screens are easier to work with

It makes sense for that sort of usage, for some people at least, but then you’ve got to forego one-handed use, be prepared to carry a big phone, and hope that you have a pocket large enough that it won’t fall out if you bend over; etc.
When out-and-about, I personally much prefer an elegantly small device.

I agree that sometimes it's easier to work with larger screens, keyboards, etc - especially if you don't have a computer. But for me, I still like to be able to use my phones one-handed and would like to be able to put them in purse zipper compartments, etc. But I do understand what you are saying!

That's why I normally work on my Chromebook. I don't even have banking and bill paying apps on my phone unless the app isn't available on the Chromebook or I can't simply use the web. That said, for carry around I liked the Pixel size but I went with a larger phone to get the Huawei P30 pro cameras and software. If I had that same camera array and software on a Pixel-sized phone I'd go for it.

How are you liking your Chromebook? I am thinking of buying one for myself as my laptop once things settle down a bit. And the P30 Pro is amazing! Excellent choice!

I've had Microsoft computers since 1983. My first was a Columbia clone. I am deaf so I was late adopting cell phones but when I discovered Android smartphones I really wanted to synchronize between my computer and my phone. Microsoft was slow and clumsy making the connection.So, I got a Chromebook. The next thing I knew I was getting one for my 50-year old daughter who doesn't like computers. She loves the Chromebook.

The Chromebook and the phone connect flawlessly and now my Google Home Mini is in the mix with my lists and my calendar. I can ask Google Mini for my next appointment it will tell me.

And, yes, the Huawei P30 pro is great if you like taking photos. Snapshots are the province of Pixel but if you want control over photos it's Huawei.

Thank you very much for your review! I don't really need the power of a computer and I like the look and operation of a Chromebook. I may snag one.
