Am I one of the few with no G6 issues ?

Well yeah the iOS is better optimized than Android.. But then again you have iOS that is made for 1 device every year. And you have Android OS that is made for many devices of all ranges so it can't be and never will be as smooth as iOS but, Android became very good from 6.0 til now. It really became a great software. Damn i can barely afford to have a daily drive phone not gonna even think about having backup phone in this sad country hahah.. I don't have laggs after the V10T update and i mean i don't have them at all..

Well they're backup phones only because I get sick of one and move on lol

And I still use an android tablet, an Asus Zenpad 3S so best of both worlds. Definitely won't get an iPad

Hehe i sold my iPhone but i am still using my iPad mini 2, and it still works amazing... Definitly both of tho worlds... Though at some time i did wanted windows phone but glad i haven't hahah...

Lol. When I jailbroke my iPhone before I put the windows launcher on it. It was unique with those windows things like windows 10 but otherwise windows phones were trash.

Main Plus is iMessage. When wife sends me pics of kids etc, picture quality isn't degraded like from iPhone to android phone.

Yeah i do miss that.. But my iPhone did get all of it and it was time for him to be retired hahaha.. I did wanted G6 or iP7 but the iPhone 7 was just too fking expensive. Damn in USA and Canada is so much cheaper and i love that matt black color.. Ohh but loving the G6, for me the phone is really underrated.. And i gotta say though my ipad is old like 2-3 years now i think y it will be 3 years in december. Damn the battery still lasts for like 7-10 days... Its just amazing..

The G6 sits comfortably in 2nd place behind the 2nd Gen Moto X on my all time favorite phones that I've owned.

The 2:1 ratio is nice for single hand operation. It's fast, has a good screen, and a premium feel. It has no gimmicks and is a great phone overall. I've owned it since the middle of April and it's been a solid phone. No issues to report.

My 3 month old G6 only rings incoming calls intermittantly and is difficult to connect for outgoing calls. Talked to US Cellular a number of times without any fixes (although they were very helpful and friendly). Went to the local US Cellular store today and reactivated my "old" Nexus 6P. It "seems" to do better but I'll keep trying it for the next week or so to see if my problems are phone or system related. If they're phone related, I think I'll try to convince USC to let me return the G6 and buy a different phone from them. If not, I'll pack away the G6 and continue using the Nexus. I'll miss some of the features of the G6 (like the wireless charging and semi-waterproof rating as well as the narrow profile) but I HAVE to have a phone that works as a...phone. We'll see. (Of course, if the problem is coverage, I'm probably screwed.)

I've only had the phone for about 11 days, but was going to post in this thread a few days ago that my G6 seems solid and without issues. But...lag started to show up. Did a factory reset yesterday and, strangely, that made the problems worse. I'm going to try one more reset today and if that doesn't fix things, I'll be returning the phone for a full refund. I'll use an old backup until I get my hands on the V30 or the new Pixel.

It's a shame, I really like the phone. But, as it stands now, it's performing worse than the G4 I handed down to my wife.

Update: Since I posted the above, and after the 2nd reset, the phone it working as it should. Pretty sure the lag was related to an app...my best guess is Lastpass, but not 100% sure.

Still a little lag here and there, but I don't think it's related to the phone but, instead, some of the apps and/or launcher I use. At any rate, no real complaints now.

Do you guys think we will get awesome camera features like V30 has ? I mean okay it rocks 7.1.2 nougat but still.. Though i noticed no portrait mode. Damn why do they do that..

After V10T EU update i don't have any more laggs at all.. The phone performs smootly and sexy.

I'm impressed with the night shots with the app.. And of course the HDR+.. The pics that come out are way better than what LGs processing does. Maybe its the chrger, or the port got dusty.. did u try to clean it ?
I remember back on the g3 my charger died after 1 year... and to both of my friends, both had g3 and charger died..

Turns out it's the outlet. Weird because anything else works in the same outlet.

Whatever the issue is it was fixed just by changing outlets.

Yeah i'll play a little bit with the app, though im not very impressed with it must say... Yeah well here in europe we are crazy about football not its not soccer i dont call it soccer i hate when people call it soccer but anyhow i do like the nba and nhl but can't watch it here. It starts in like 3,4 a.m. here
Though im not a fan of basketball and hockey but damn u americans and canadians can really make these two sports look like art..
