Am I the only one with this problem?

I want to say this is my first time on these forums
so I might not be in the right place.

Im on a galaxy S7 Edge

I have this problem where the bar above my keyboard
in my messaging app is stuck in the middle of my screen but very faded. Its not burned in I think becuase it only showed up after the latest update.

Thats whats on my screen Im using the Vanilla theme

Welcome to the forums. Do you get that bar on every app or only on the messaging app? You could try clearing cache in settings - storage - cached data and then restart the phone. Tell us how it goes.

Its literally everywhere and ive tried to clear my cache.
This also happened on my s6 Edge after an update, and its really odd.

That's very strange. Does it show up in a screenshot? Could you post it here? You could try safe mode and see if the bar is still there. This will tell you if there's a bug in the system or just caused by a third party app.

I cant get it to show up in screen shots.
Ill check safemode though.

If it doesn't show up in a screenshot most likely it's a burn in.

Im pretty sure its the system, wont show in screenshots but still shows up in safe mode.
Dont know what to do I might just have to deal with it. :-\

Yeah, weird, an update shouldn't have anything to do with that. I'll let you know if I think of something else

What keyboard are you using? Bc for the same problem to follow you across two different phones is crazy.

I don't think this issue is related to the keyboard. The image posted in the first posts looks like the bar from the messaging app.
