Amaze where i live

Hi I live in the Caribbean on the island of Barbados and i wanted to know if i bought the amaze would it work here in Barbados i currently have a Sony Ericsson mini pro and it works fine on my carriers 3g network.I see on gsm arena that both phones have the same bands on gsm and hsdpa so the question to you guys is will it work here in Barbados?

If they have the same radio bands, why wouldn't it work?

Frankly, with all the problems we T-Mobile Amaze owners have had, I would recommend against the Amaze unless you get it free.
