Lol I usually get around 36 hours, and I don't really have to turn anything down or off to get it. My screen is at a little more than half brightness, so it's not like I've turned it down aggressively, and it's at a perfect brightness where I can read it great indoors, it's good enough to see most everything in sunlight, and it doesn't blind me if I'm in a completely dark room. I don't have auto-update apps or auto-upload photos or anything like that, but I have auto-sync on and back up settings and everything. I also have location on, just scanning and not GPS. My One likes to wake up a lot at random times when I'm not using it, but it doesn't seem to impact the battery at all, and there isn't much of a difference between the battery drain of when I use it and when it's just on standby. For example, I have the Verizon One, and I just updated to the newest software that came out today. Downloading AND installing the update consumed 4% of the battery. Pretty sure when I updated my Thunderbolt to ICS it took like 40% just to install haha.
