Amazing how many Ex One owners are here

I own both the ONE and the S4 and use the ONE as my daily driver. My biggest gripe about the S4 is it is so hard to see in bright daylight. It is a good phone but if I cannot see the screen well in bright daylight, wellllll it isn't much good to me. Other than that it is a fine phone but I need more than 16 gigs of onboard memory. If the S4 had 32 gigs, bigger battery, and could be seen well in bright daylight I may use it more.

16GByte onboard sucks - and using cards really isn't that great as all of the class 10 ones messed with the device's performance.

Not sure what you're talking about in terms of battery life - that's been absolutely fantastic on my S4. Definitely better than on the One

Agree I consistently get better battery life (overall time) on my S4 but screen on time is about the same on both. May be due to the fact I find myself playing with the One more and draining it faster while the s4 spends more time on standby. Either way compared to most android devices either one is more than acceptable when it comes to battery life.

Yupp, I never had an issue with battery life on the One, either. As long as it gets me through the day, I don't have a problem with it.

Anyway, I sold my S4 today after it started rejecting yet another MicroSD card. Replaced the first one two weeks ago after it started to get randomly ejected (reformatting only helped for a day). Now the new one is doing the same. This just ads to a log list of issues I've had with the thing. Will get a One again tomorrow (if I can find one).

Wow. Haven't experienced that with my s4 *knocks on wood*

Battery life on my One continues to get better. I'm very satisfied with how it has performed the past few days.

My wife's S4 does the same. After it had force ejected the card a couple of times, the card became unreadable and needed to be reformatted

Just curious what cards your using? Is your wife's card the same as yours?

My first one was a Kingston 64gb class 10, the second one a Sandisk 32gb class 10. My wife also has a Sandisk 32gb. I bought the latter after I was having issues with the Kingston. Mainly because the Sandisk had "made for Android" printed on the package - I had thought the Kingston card was incompatible. However, apparently the problem was with the phone from the get go.
